Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 6:30 PM (EST)
New York, NY
Growth is a funny thing, sometimes it happens so fast that we miss some of the good parts.
In 2011, the G.F. Brand Foundation was founded as a male youth leadership development and mentoring program...
We open the doors to Our House to you! Come in, have a bite to eat and something to drink, and learn about the mission, programming, and leadership of the G.F. Brand Foundation.
If you are between the ages of 12 and 24, in school or out, having issues at home, with your peers, or would like ways to increase your leadership and cultural awareness, WE WELCOME YOU TO OUR HOUSE
If you are a young professional in need of volunteer opportunities or want to be a mentor, WE WELCOME YOU TO OUR HOUSE
If you are an educator or school social worker and want help in ensuring your students are thoroughly equipped not just for school, but for life, WE WELCOME YOU TO OUR HOUSE
If you are an activist, community organizer, community leader, city official, and want to learn ways to advance your agenda, establish new partnerships, or build, WE WELCOME YOU TO OUR HOUSE
If all you know about the G.F. Brand foundation is whispers of the Measure of a Man thing, or you know the executive dietor personally, or curious about the new face in the neighborhood, WE WELCOME YOU TO OUR HOUSE
Come out and network with us. Food and drink will be available as you learn about our organization and programs,
WELCOME TO OUR HOUSE!

The mission of the HomeBound Leadership Institute is to cultivate, educate, and train new leadership; impact public policy that is sensitive to and considers the cultural and ethnic diversity of America; bring awareness to and empower cultural identity development, and to develop initiatives that unify communities, strengthen cultural consciousness, build and sustain wealth, fill in gaps left by educational inequalities, and offer justice for people of color.
